Fit Farm is a residential health and outdoor fitness retreat at Excelsior Estate in the beautiful Robertson wine valley, two hours from Cape Town. It’s the first step to achieving a healthier you.
If you’re in need of a holiday and some relaxation but also want to kick start your way to healthier living, this is for you. Fit Farm is not a boot camp, it’s a retreat designed to set in motion exciting ways to get and keep you fit, healthy and motivated.
Fit Farm takes place on a stunning wine estate and is ideal for those who struggle to get excited about going to the gym. It is run in partnership with British Military Fitness, the UKs number one provider of outdoor fitness classes; all the fitness instructors have a military background and are trained fitness instructors. They know how to motivate you to achieve your fitness goals.
In addition to daily BMF sessions there are other activities on offer which includes pilates, riding, farm based activities, rock climbing, mountain biking…you can even go sky diving! Professional massage therapies (deep tissue, Swedish, hot stone and acupressure) are available to ease any weary muscles.
Fit Farmers will stay in luxury at Excelsior Manor Guesthouse. The house is a Cape Dutch revival ostrich palace and has nine luxury ensuite rooms. It’s set in lush, mature gardens in the heart of a working wine farm.
The innovative traffic light system means that you can manage your time at Fit Farm as you wish. Those choosing the ‘green’ option will follow juice master Jason Vale’s super healthy ‘turbo charge’ your life diet and have a full exercise programme. Those following the more relaxed ‘red’ option can follow a less rigorous exercise regime and even have some time off for wine tasting at the famous vineyards in the area!
Fit Farm runs from 28 June – 6 July 2013 and 16 -23 August 2013. Cost is R1,200 per person per day including accommodation, meals and BMF training. For more information contact Emily Blott by email at email@example.com or tel (0027) 23 615 2050
